IS MYCARE A TYPE OF INSURANCE?
No, MyCare is a fee-for-service practice that avoids the hassle of insurance completely.
DO I STILL NEED INSURANCE?
Yes. We encourage our patients to carry at least catastrophic insurance coverage, and to get high-deductible, low-premium insurance plans.
DOES MYCARE TREAT CHRONIC PAIN?
No, we do not treat chronic pain or prescribe narcotics.
CAN I GET ALL MY MEDICATION FROM MYCARE?
MyCare only stocks medications that we can save you money on, which tend to be generic ones. We offer many generic medications at incredible prices. However, name-brand medications may be less expensive through using your insurance at a local pharmacy.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL?
You will need to use your insurance policy for a hospital visit. Dr. Arvon may visit hospitalized patients, and will coordinate their care upon release.
THIS SOUNDS AMAZING. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
You will pay a monthly fee that is based on your age, along with the wholesale price of any labs and common medications that you order through us. There are no co-pays for office visits. For more information, please see our pricing section.
WILL I BE CHARGED FOR EACH OFFICE VISIT?
There are no co-pays for office visits. Patients pay a flat rate per month, whether they see the doctor five times in a month or not at all.
